The standards we live by
Moving a parent abroad is a big decision — so we hold ourselves to the standards your family already trusts. Everything here is benchmarked against UK best practice: NHS guidance on healthy ageing and the person-centred-care principles of the CQC and NICE.
Safe, effective, caring, responsive, well-led
The CQC judges every service in England on five questions. We hold ourselves to exactly the same five.
Safe
You are protected from avoidable harm — safeguarding, safe medicine management, a doctor on call, and secure, accessible apartments.
Effective
Your care is based on a proper assessment and genuinely works for you — good nutrition and hydration, delivered by a trained, qualified team.
Caring
You are treated with compassion, dignity, privacy and respect — as an individual, every single day.
Responsive
Care is shaped around you — your preferences, culture and choices — and we listen and act the moment something needs to change.
Well-led
A named nurse and community manager, clear records, and a culture of reviewing and improving everything we do.
Ten standards we guarantee
The CQC's fundamental standards set the baseline for good care. Here is how we meet each one.
Person-centred care
Built on your own assessment, needs and wishes — never one-size-fits-all.
Dignity & respect
Privacy, independence and kindness in every interaction.
Consent
Nothing happens without your informed agreement; your choices lead.
Safe care & treatment
Risks assessed and managed, including a personal falls-prevention plan.
Safeguarding
Clear protection from abuse and neglect, by trained staff who know the signs.
Nutrition & hydration
Dietitian-planned meals, monthly screening, and plenty to drink.
Premises & equipment
Clean, safe, accessible apartments and shared spaces, well maintained.
Complaints
Easy to raise a concern — and a promise to listen and put things right.
Good governance
Accurate records and regular review of care plans and quality.
Right staffing
Enough suitably qualified, caring people — available day and night.
Everything from home — and so much more
All the reassurance of good care back home, plus a life in the sun you simply can't get there.

A note on regulation
Benchmarked against UK standards — not UK-regulated
GrandyGo is in Kemer, Türkiye, and so is not registered with or regulated by the Care Quality Commission, which oversees services in England only. We're open about that. What we promise instead is to hold ourselves to these trusted UK frameworks — NHS, CQC and NICE — as the benchmark for everything we do, delivered by our own qualified nursing and care team, and to keep proving it to you and your family throughout your stay.
